SRHS & PTSA NEED YOU! Please consider joining the PTSA today! And don't forget to sign up to be a volunteer at school. Let your presence be your gift to our school.

ATTENTION CLASS OF 2013 & 2014 PARENTS:

The PSAT will be given on Wednesday, October 12^th.  Sophomores who have completed Algebra I are able to take the test for free and do not need to pre-register.  Any other students (Freshmen and Juniors) who would like to take the PSAT need to register in Student Services.  Registration begins Wednesday, August 24th and ends on Friday September 23rd.  The cost of the test is $14.00 payable with money order or cashier's check ONLY.  No personal checks will be accepted.  Please see Mrs. Reid in Student Services to register.

PSAT scores in the Junior year can qualify students for the National Merit Scholarship Competition and the National Achievement Scholarship Competition.  These are nationally recognized scholarships.  You must take the PSAT in your junior year to qualify. Test scores will be distributed through 2nd period teachers in January. 

Parent membership - $12; Faculty/Staff membership - $7; Student membership - $5. Thank you in advance for your support. Please see the  Join PTSA page for the membership form.

Congratulations to the members of the SRHS PTSA Faculty/Staff who have taken Mr. Wall's challenge of 100% participation.Their names were entered into a drawing for a $25.00 gift card. Cheryl Logan and Mary Siachames were the winners.

PAWS For A Cause - The SRMHS PTSA "PAWS" For A Cause Fundraiser is in full swing. We are looking for 500 people to donate $25. Please support our fundraising efforts which benefit the great students, faculty and staff at SRMHS. For every gift of $25 or more, your student's name will be entered into our monthly drawing.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - We are looking for volunteers to serve as tutors and to serve as monitors during lunch. Would you like to help? The first step for these and all volunteer positions is to register through the WCPSS volunteer system. You can only register using a school-based computer. You must re-register every year. Thank you in advance for the use of your time and talents to meet the needs of the Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School community.

RELINK YOUR CARDS TODAY: Remember to re-link your store cards (Food Lion, Harris Teeter, Target, Kroger etc.). Cards must be re-linked to SRHS PTSA each year. Our school number for each store is listed on the Fundraising page of this site or simply enter your card numbers on the membership form and we will relink them for you.
