08/31/09:  Parents of children with special needs are encouraged to join Wake Special Education PTA (SEPTA).  For more information, please visit the website at http://www.wakesepta.org/index.html or download a membership form on our Resources page.

07/19/09: Participate in a fundraiser that gives 100% profit! You should have received an annual giving letter and PTSA membership form in the mailing from the school. If not, please see the Fundraising page for the annual giving letter and the Join PTSA page for the membership form.

07/19/09: Remember to re-link your store cards (Food Lion, Harris Teeter, etc.). Cards must be re-linked to SRHS each year. Our school number for each store is listed on the Fundraising page of this site.

Sr. Class Announcements

Parents of seniors are encouraged to join a Google Group (SRHS-2010) to get regular updates on senior events and scholarship information.   You can also link to the calendar for this group, as well.  Go to www.googlegroups.com and search for SRHS-2010 and join today!

11/03/09:  As part of /Spotlight on Southeast/ activities, Counseling and Student Services is hosting "I'm a Senior! Now What?" Students and parents are invited to join us on Tuesday, November 10 at 6:30 for an informational session and panel discussion. We will be sharing information regarding senior year and providing a panel discussion on the realities our students face as they look toward graduation and beyond.

09/26/09:  The Scholarships Newsletter produced by our Guidance Services department is posted on the Resources tab.  It is updated each month.

08/02/09:  Did you know...each high school is assigned a financial aid counselor?  Ours is Ms. Carolyn Braxton.  She is available on Wednesdays, starting in October, to meet with parents and students. There is an appointment book at the reception desk in Student Services.
